Elizabeth Nguyen is a current sophomore at Stanford University studying computer science with a focus on immersive technologies. She is especially interested in the intersections between mixed reality and medicine. Elizabeth is currently the President of Stanford XR which is the leading organization supporting student developers on campus. Last summer, she was an intern in the IMMERS lab specialized in using augmented reality to create healthcare tools and Praxis Labs which used VR experiences for gender bias training within the workplace. In the future, Elizabeth believes that the digital world will become interwoven with reality and hopes to create technologies that do so ethically and increase social benefit.
